This sentence is the perfect reflection of what I think, that’s why I’m not enthusiastic about using technology too much.
Facial recognition it’s just one thing more of what the future is becoming.
Maybe I’m not the right person to debate the future because unfortunately I’m not very optimistic about it.

We are surrounded by technology and it’s really difficult now to do without it. However technology is very useful and thanks to it we can save a lot of time, share, learn, communicate, be safe…
Although do we really know how to use all this saved time, all this informations, all this virtual communications… ?
If tomorrow all this no longer exists, will we know to do differently ?
Technology is good but most people are completely disconnected from reality, nature, « real » relationships…
Technology is also used for safety, like facial recognition. However, the cybercrime rate is increasing…
I think it’s very dangerous to accept that all about you, your personality, your life, your physical description, are registered in a software.
In one minute another person could know everything about you ! What you look like, your tastes, your family, your hobbies …
In the article they talk about children, in my opinion, it is most dangerous for children, because they are used to living with it since they are young and for them it’s normal, they don’t think about the consequences… I’m pretty sure that nobody asked them for their consent!

To conclude, even if technology is useful I prefer to use it as little as possible, enjoy reality and live my life as simply as possible!
